Butch Mabe’s passion for trucking began in his early teens, inspired by his grandfather and uncle, who were both truck drivers. His first job in the industry was washing equipment at a truck terminal in Eden, where he later gained valuable experience in maintenance and transportation.

Today, Mabe’s Trucking is recognized for its commitment to fuel economy, quality equipment, innovation, and outstanding customer service. The company has also earned Dollar General’s Carrier of the Year award three times—a reflection of its loyal customers and hardworking employees.
