(Eden, NC) - in Episode #13 of the Eden Chamber of Commerce's show 'CONVERSATIONS With The CHAMBER', Eden Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jim Burnette talks with Dr. Sylvia Cox, President, Rockingham Community College.

Dr. Cox will succeeds Dr. Mark Kinlaw as RCC’s sixth president. Dr. Kinlaw retired on Feb. 28 after 10 years of leading RCC and 40 years with the N.C. Community College System. Dr. Cox has 25 years of experience advancing education and workforce development in the North Carolina Community College System. Since 2021, she has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at Southeastern Community College (SCC), where she leads academic affairs, workforce development, and student services. Her leadership focuses on strategic planning, program innovation, and fostering student success.
