A Sunday of Live Music, Local Wine & Southern Barbecue

Looking for something fun to do close to home on Sunday, October 18? Head to Gioia dell’Amore Cellars in Mayodan for an afternoon featuring live music from Nick Branscome, delicious barbecue from Ruffin Redneck BBQ, and handcrafted North Carolina wine.

Nick Branscome Live will perform from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, bringing his mix of classic rock, pop, and country favorites to the vineyard. Nick is a longtime favorite at Gioia, and his engaging performances make for an afternoon filled with good music, sing-alongs, and plenty of genuine fun.

From 1:00 to 5:00 PM, Ruffin Redneck BBQ will be joining us for the first time. This Ruffin, NC, husband-and-wife team will be serving authentic smoked meats and Southern sides, including beef brisket, pulled pork, smoked sausage, chicken wings, and smoked bologna.

The tasting room will be open from 1:00 to 6:00 PM, offering handcrafted Gioia wines, local beer, slushies and vineyard views throughout the afternoon.
