Looking for something a little different to do on Sunday, November 1? Head to Gioia dell’Amore Cellars in Mayodan for an afternoon featuring live music from Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs, artisan sandwiches from Send It Sammies, and handcrafted North Carolina wine.

Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs will perform from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, bringing their unique folk(ish) sound to the vineyard. This Winston-Salem husband-and-wife duo blends Appalachian roots, cosmic grooves, banjo, guitar, and lush harmonies into a genre-bending sound that is heartfelt, playful, and completely their own.

From 1:00 to 5:00 PM, Send It Sammies will be serving artisan sandwiches inspired by mountain biking, adventure, and community. Based in Greensboro, the food truck was born from owner Joel’s love of mountain biking and his decision to trade his corporate career for life on the road serving great food.

The tasting room will be open from 1:00 to 6:00 PM, offering handcrafted Gioia wines, local craft beer, and vineyard views throughout the afternoon.
